700% Returns: This multibagger rail infrastructure company bags multiple order worth Rs 1517.69 crore in 2023

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has just signed an MoU with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) a few days ago.

Under this, it has been written in this exchange filing that the company has to construct highways in which these highways are included:

  • 6-lane greenfield Varanasi Ranchi-Kolkata highway from Sonepurbigha village to the junction of NH-22.
  • Near Chatra (Chatra Bypass) under Bharatmala Project in Jharkhand State on Hybrid Annuity Mode (Package 8).

For the construction of these highways, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has also formed a joint venture with Tracks and Towers Infratech Private Limited and this project is worth Rs 1271.98 crore.

The company has already constructed different buildings and platforms on September 13, 2023 which are as follows:

  • JV MPCC station buildings, platforms,
  • Subway covers on platforms,
  • Staff quarters and
  • Gauge for construction of passenger facilities

Along with this, the company had selected the lowest bidder (L1) for civil engineering works in which conversion works were done between Nadiad-Petlad of Vadodara Division of Western Railway.

And if we talk about the total share in all this, then RVNLโ€™s share in it was 74% and MPCCโ€™s share was 26%, in which this order is worth Rs 245.71 crore.

Many works were also completed in the form of doubling by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, in which all these works are as follows:

  • Gauge conversion
  • New lines
  • ย Railway electrification
  • ย Major bridges
  • Workshops
  • Production Units
  • Freight transportation with railways
